According to the people who run the system, it is best to use Google Chrome and to have all of your information ready to go (including credit card). The UPay system seems to be timing out more quickly than previously.***

You can use this site to register for both the ICOET and GCLIE events.

ICOET: The 2021 conference will be special in two ways: 1) it will be entirely virtual and 2) without a geographic home, the 2021 conference will be hosted by the ICOET Steering Committee. The Steering Committee is comprised of agency, academic, consultant, and NGO scientists, practitioners, and policy-makers from North America and around the world. The virtual setting is both necessary because of the COVID-19 pandemic and reflects a growing movement in scientific conferences going online as a measure and reduce carbon footprint associated with in-person conferencing. That being said, as we are excited by the opportunities and rising to the challenges presented by a fully virtual format, we absolutely look forward to seeing you in person in 2023, as we embark on a hybrid ICOET conference model for the future.

This conference, ICOET will also host the first-ever "Global Congress on Linear Infrastructure and the Environment," which will bring together decision-makers, scientists and technical experts from around the globe to discuss the pressing issues associated with developing more sustainable linear infrastructure systems.

GCLIE: The Global Congress for Linear Infrastructure and Environment, will compliment the existing continental conferences on transportation ecology, through providing a platform that allows focus on broader, higher-level, global issues and policies that can influence national and international knowledge sharing and bring about positive change. Periodically the continental conferences and the GCLIE will work together developing interest in, and awareness of linear infrastructure and the environment at the global scale. A dedicated global meeting would specifically facilitate networking with our international peers and examine infrastructure and environment topics relevant at a truly global scale.

If you have participated in the last ACLIE, IENE or CIBIV conference (2020, 2021) you may register at a reduced rate.

Technical Requirements: We will be using the Remo patform for presentations. See this website for more information about computer requirements to effectively participate: https://help.remo.co/en/support/solutions/articles/63000251002-what-are-the-technical-requirements-and-supported-computer-devices-for-using-remo-conference.

Cancellation Policy: A refund of 75% of your registration payment is possible if you contact us within 2 weeks of making your payment and greater than 8 weeks before the conference. No refund is possible less than 8 weeks prior to the conference. This is because of irreversible financial commitments we have to make during planning leading up to the conference. However, we may be able to transfer credit for your registration to someone else in your organization.
