Location -
Zoom links will be sent to the learner's email address as listed on their registration.
Description
This workshop covers the deep learning workflows that integrate with geospatial technology, leveraging powers of both. Geospatial technology helps in preparing and training the samples for the deep learning model to run, and further visualize and analyze the results. Deep learning workflow on object detection and image classification are examples, among others, that will be showcased during this workshop.
Learning Objectives
Participants will gain experience with GeoAI, Deep Learning in ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Notebooks.
Prerequisites
Participants should have some understanding of Deep Learning, ArcGIS Pro; Python scripting will help, but optional.
Software
ArcGIS Online account with access to ArcGIS Notebooks in ArcGIS Online (UC Davis campus affiliates can email esrisupport@ucdavis.edu for help).
Instructor
David Yu, Esri
Instructor Bio
David Yu is a Data Scientist with the GeoAI team at Esri, where he works on applying machine learning solutions to problems in the imagery space such as object tracking and anomaly detection, pattern analysis and generative networks. His interest is in exploring the intersection of machine learning and GIS and its application to solving real-world problems.
