In this seminar we will discuss 3’ RNAseq for single cell, low input and population based analysis. The
QIAseq UPX 3’ RNAseq transcriptome Library Kit and Targeted RNA Panels allow researchers to screen
a few to 1000’s of samples at 1 time with precision due to unique molecular index (UMI) technology.
Come join us and learn how UMIs and UPX is lower the cost of library preparation, simplifying
workflows and leading to high quality gene expression analysis from any samples.
Samuel Rulli received his PhD in 2002 from Tulane University and did post-doctoral research at Johns Hopkins
University and the National Cancer Institute in Frederick, MD. Trained as a molecular biologist, Dr. Rulli has
worked on different assay detection technologies for gene expression and nucleic acid analysis. Currently he is a
global product manager at QIAGEN specializing in qPCR and NGS detection of both protein and non-coding
RNAs (lncRNAs) by pathway and disease.
